Grand Pines Golf Club at Bentwater is honored to be partnering with the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Folds of Honor was founded in 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel Dan Rooney and has carried forth one singular, noble mission. To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, rated four stars by Charity Navigator and platinum rated on Guide Star, which provides educational scholarships to the families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled while on active duty in the United States Armed Forces. Their educational scholarships support private educational tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents. To date, the Folds of Honor has proudly awarded over 28,000 scholarships.

Now more than ever, the Folds of Honor is in need of vital funds in order to continue assisting the scholarship recipient families they serve. COVID 19 has resulted in the cancelation of some of their largest events and leaves a lot of uncertainty, however our resolve as a gracious and generous community is stronger than ever! The Folds of Honor South Texas Chapter is working diligently to ensure they bridge the gap, and we are honored to support their efforts and proudly stand beside them in honor of those who serve our great nation.
