Ruck March For The Fallen Heroes & Their Families
Famliy and friends,
Throughout my 8 years of military service, I have had the privledge to serve along side some of the bravest soldiers this country has ever seen. I have made life long friends, bonds that could never be broken, coped through the harsh realities of war and have made it back to my family and friends. Although I was able to make it back to my family, there are thousands of soldiers that weren't so lucky. They sacrificed it all for our freedoms. They left behind their spouses, children, parents, siblings and friends. Although they are never forgotten and live on through the memories they left behind, that void could never be truly filled.
On April 29, 2017, I will be doing a 26.2 mile ruck march with a weighted pack in honor of our fallen heroes. The date is symbolic to me because in 2010, that was the day I lost my best friend, 1LT Salvatore Corma while on patrol in Southern Afghanistan. I have lost many friends and soldiers that I have served with and lead in combat over the years. Each one of them has a special place in my heart which is my driving force for this foundation. As soldiers, we have each others backs no matter what. Even though these heroes are gone physically, the mission and commitment still lives on. Folds of Honor is an amazing charity that doesn't let our fallen heroes be forgotten.
I am proud to stand with the Folds of Honor and am committing to raise money to help the Foundation realize its mission of providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of our fallen and disabled servicemen and women. Please help me meet my fundraising goal by making a donation. Your generous gift will be used efficiently and effectively to help support Folds of Honor scholarship programs.
