| THE 7TH FOLD |
*The seventh fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

This is where you will stay connected with all things Folds of Honor, such as impactful partnerships, upcoming events, store promotions and most importantly, the stories of the families you stand with.

Right now, we face a deficit of more than 700 deserving families whom were turned away this year due to lack of funds. Help us close the gap with a gift to our end of year campaign.
| FAMILIES OF FOLDS |
Meet Rosemary Shin, daughter of Lieutenant Colonel, Kent Shin, and Folds of Honor recipient. She currently attends Oberlin College in Ohio and plans to use her undergraduate degree in health psychology to help improve the state of mental health in individuals in underserved communities. She also intends to use her undergraduate scholarship as the foundation for continuing her education in graduate school.

It’s because of the continual support from patriots like you, Folds of Honor is able to help Rosemary complete her undergraduate degree so that she may further her education and seize every opportunity that comes her way.
| CHAPTER HIGHLIGHT |
New York Chapter

Since its inception in June 2018, the Folds of Honor New York Chapter has been working on developing several partnerships with local businesses including their local Anheuser Busch distributor, Saratoga Eagle.

Their first event in August was a cornhole tournament put on by Saratoga Eagle. They had 120 teams turn out and raised $7,000.

With support from Budweiser, the New York Chapter had numerous opportunities to share the Folds of Honor mission in December, including appearances with the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

The New York Chapter has their first big event to kick off 2019 on February 7th in Albany, NY. In conjunction with St. Gregory’s, a K-8 school partnering with Folds of Honor to fund two scholarships a year, this event will be a great introduction to the Folds of Honor mission for people in their local community. Major Ed and Gold Star Wife, Wesley Bauguess, will be in attendance to share their powerful testimony as well as country music artist, Lee Brice, who will share an acoustic storytelling set.

To date, the New York Chapter has raised approximately $200,000 for our military families making an immeasurable impact on the families who have paid the ultimate price of freedom.

John Rich - Redneck Riviera

January 8th, country music artist and proud Folds of Honor supporter, John Rich, celebrated the one year anniversary of Redneck Riviera Whiskey; a brand that supports our military families. Since its launch in February of 2018, Redneck Riviera Whiskey has donated more than $200,000 to Folds of Honor, providing 40 scholarships to America’s most deserving families. We are honored to partner with Mr. Rich and beyond blessed for his continued support.

| PATRIOT GOLF DAY |
Ryan Mulvey
Ryan Mulvey and his KemperSports team at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City, Florida recently finished their third year participating in Patriot Golf Day.

This past year they participated in two different ways. The first was a golf marathon, where Ryan, along with golf professionals Nate Star and Colby Pitts, played 150 holes in one day and raised about $6,000.

The second way they participated was through a daily hole-in-one competition. Golfers could donate $15 for a chance to win if they made a hole-in-one on the 16th hole. This event raised another $500.

In addition, the club has a Patriot Legacy Fund that keeps their membership engaged year-round. The annual fund is supported by monthly contributions on participants’ membership bills. To date, the fund has contributed more than $100,000 to Folds of Honor.

When asked what made their Patriot Golf Day events successful, Ryan said “In addition to fundraising, we also made it a priority to get the message out about Folds of Honor and tell people about the incredible mission. We ensured people understood the mission and where their money was going really helped us gain support from the local community that will help our Patriot Golf Day be successful for years to come."

In 2018, more than $100,000 was raised through Facebook a majority of which came from birthday fundraisers.
