THE 7TH FOLD
*The seventh fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

This is where you will stay connected with all things Folds of Honor, such as impactful partnerships, upcoming events, store promotions and most importantly, the stories of the families you stand with.
FAMILIES OF FOLDS
United States Navy Petty Officer 1st Class (Retired) Michael Lammey served our country honorably for over nine years during Operation Enduring Freedom. On December 1st, 2006 PO1 Lammey was on the U.S.S Frank Gable, Guam when he sustained a life changing experience. The Boiler on this ship was damaged and exploded, changing his life forever. PO1 Lammey sustained 3rd degree burns to 48% of his body by 1200-degree steam that quickly filled the room. Out of 6 service members that were injured 4 survived, and 2 did not.

His wife reflects, “everyone that he meets is inspired by his perseverance. His ability to keep his core values after a life changing experience has been valuable in raising our three children. Our family’s challenges are met with positive persistence, because of Michael’s example”.

Two of his three daughters are current and multi-year Folds of Honor Scholarship Recipients, and his wife is a multi-year and current Folds of Honor Scholarship Recipient.

CHAPTER HIGHLIGHT
Nashville Chapter

The Nashville Chapter hosted their 2nd annual Heroes & Holidays Party at Joan and John Rich’s private residence “Mt. Richmore” which is located right in the heart of music city! The Holidays are a time where friends and family gather, love, and support one another. The Nashville Chapter uses this annual event to gather, love, support, and honor our nations heroes and their families.

With over 150 guests in attendance, the Nashville Chapter raised more than $200,000, while John Rich and his whiskey brand Redneck Riviera contributed an additional $174.514.57 through a percentage of sale proceeds. Folds of Honor speaker, Wesley Bauguess, whose daughter attends Belmont University in Nashville, was in attendance to share her families story of sacrifice and dedication to furthering the Folds of Honor Mission.

“I’d like to give a BIG thanks to both Joan and John Rich for hosting this amazing event. If not for their continued and unwavering support of our mission, this night would not have been possible” Anthony Raiola, Sr. Manager Chapter Development

POWERFUL PARTNERSHIPS

Logan's Roadhouse pledged to raise $1 million to help provide 200 educational scholarships to local communities in addition to serving free meal to America’s heroes starting November 11 and ended December 31st.

Guests had the opportunity to give back to the families of the less than 1% who serve our nation. Logan’s Roadhouse asked guests to give a little to help those who gave all by rounding up their check. All of the proceeds made from the roundup campaign benefited Folds of Honor.

“Logan’s Roadhouse is proud to serve those who serve in the military,” said Brad Jacobus, Chief Marketing Officer of Logan’s Roadhouse. “‘Passion to Serve’ is one of our Core Values, and being able to support local families and children in our backyards is the ultimate way to bring this value to life. Logan’s Roadhouse is a long-time supporter of the U.S. military and in honor of Military Family Month, we’ve set a goal to raise $1 million, enabling us to help provide close to 200 scholarships through Folds of Honor.”

Thank you Logan's Roadhouse for the contributions and brand exposure your campaign has provided for Folds of Honor and our mission to support military families in their pursuit of education. We're truly humbled to have such great corporate sponsors support Folds of Honor and answer the call to duty.
